System/Browser Requirements

This section of the HeinOnline Technical FAQ discusses minimum and recommended requirements for your PC system.  Based on testing HeinOnline, the following is what works with the HeinOnline system.

System Requirements

• 128 MB RAM minimum

• Screen resolution 800x600 minimum; 1024x768 recommended

• Internet access; dedicated Internet connection recommended

Printing

• Laser printer with 8 MB of printer memory

• PDF printing requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, Version 5.0 or later.  If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer,  Download Adobe Reader and install it on your workstation.  
  Please note: you may have difficulty printing using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0.  Version 5.0.5 or later is required for best results.

• HPrint printing requires the free HeinOnline HPrint application. Click here for download,  installation and use instructions.  
  Please Note: HPrint requires Windows 98 or later, it is not available for Windows 95.
