                Traite des Femmes et des Enfants



    Resolution adoplee par l'Assemblie, le 20 septembre 1927 (matin), sur la proposition
                             de la cinquibme Commission.
        L'Assembl~e
        Prend acte du rapport presente par le Comit6 de la traite des femmes et des
    enfants ; elle remercie le Comite des travaux qu'il a accomplis et exprime l'espoir
    que ces travaux seront A l'avenir poursuivis dans le meme sens ;
        Ayant appris avec le plus vif interet que le Comit6 examine d'une maniere appro-
    fondie, en ce qui concerne la partie I du rapport des experts, le probleme de la rela-
    tion qui existe entre la maison de tolerance et la traite des femmes, prie le Comite
    de la traite des femmes et des enfants d'examiner, des que possible, l'opportunite
    qu'il y aurait A recommander A tous les gouvernements I'abolition du systeme des
    maisons de tolerance ;
        Tient A exprimer sa tres haute approbation du courage et du zale deploy6 par
    le Comite special d'experts, et recommande vivement la partie I du rapport, et tout
    specialement ses conclusions, A l'examen des gouvernements de tous les Etats
    membres et non membres de la Societ6 des Nations.

                 Traffic in Women and Children.


         Resolution adopted by the Assembly on September 20th, 1927 (morning).
                  (Adopted on the proposal of the Fifth Committee.)
        The Assembly  :
        Takes note of the report of the Traffic in Women and Children Committee,
    thanks the Committee for the good work it has accomplished, and expresses the hope
    that this work will be continued along the same lines ;
        Having learnt with the greatest interest that the Traffic in Women and Children
    Committee is examining carefully, in connection with Part I of the experts' report.
    the problem of the relationship which exists between the licensed house and the
    traffic in women, requests the Traffic in Women, and Children Committee to examine
    as soon as possible, the question of the desirability of recommending to all Govern-
    ments the abolition of the system of the licensed house ;
        Desires to express its warmest approval of the able and courageous work of
    the Special Body of Experts, and earnestly recommends Part I of the report, and
    especially its conclusions, to the study of the Governments of all States Members
    and non-Members of the League of Nations.
