The Senate Finance Committee in- corporated that language into another bill, H.R. 2973, which eventually be- came Public Law 98-67. Later, the Senate Finance Committee resurrected H.R. 2769 as a vehicle for reporting out its ver- sion of the Retirement Equity Act.
