PARTICIPANTS BIOGRAPHIES


     Armando   G.  Hernandez   graduated from St. Thomas  University,
School of Law in 2010, magna cum laude. Mr. Hernandez is an associate at
Rumberger,  Kirk, &  Caldwell  who  practices in the areas of product
liability, casualty, and admiralty/maritime law matters. Mr. Hernandez was
awarded the first Excellence in Professionalism Award by the Eleventh
Judicial Circuit Professionalism Committee in 2016 for his outstanding
efforts in ensuring that the South Florida legal community  maintains
professionalism and civility.
     Paul  Lipton is the Director of Professionalism, Career and Skill
Development  at Rumberger, Kirk, & Caldwell. In his role as Director of
Professionalism, Mr. Lipton works with associates and acts as a mentor in
developing professional skills, building their brand, and stimulating growth
as effective litigators. Furthermore, Mr. Lipton was a prominent trial
attorney for over 40 years and built an illustrious career throughout that
period by  litigating numerous jury  and  non-jury trials in complex
commercial,  probate, estate and trust litigation involving national and
international companies.
     Keith  Rizzardi is an Associate Professor of Law  at St. Thomas
University School of Law. Professor Rizzardi joined St. Thomas in 2011
after years of  government  service as a  trial attorney for the U.S.
Department of Justice Environmental and Natural Resources Division and
as a managing attorney for the South Florida Water Management District.
An  active member of the Florida Bar, and a Board Certified Specialist in
State & Federal Administrative Practice, Professor Rizzardi twice chaired
The Florida Bar Government  Lawyer  Section, and served on the Florida
Bar's Ethics and Professionalism committees.
     Honorable  Judge  Bertila Soto is the Chief Judge of the Eleventh
Judicial Circuit of Florida, Family Division. Judge Soto began practicing
law in 1987 and then served on the Miami-Dade County Court from 1996
until her appointment to the Eleventh Circuit Court in 2002. Judge Soto is a
prominent member   of the South Florida Community   and was  the first
female Chief Judge of the Circuit, as well as the first Hispanic and Cuban-
American Chief Judge.
