BATCHELOR REAPPOINTED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
OF LAW NOTES
William W. Falsgraf, Section Chairman, announced
that James 1). Batchelor of Oklahoma City' has been
reappointed as Editor-in-chief of Law Notes, Young
Lawyers edition. Batchelor thus
will continue as head of a staff on
which he previously served for a
number of years. lie is the General
Counsel for Oklahoma City Urban
Renewal Authority.
Mr. Batchelor stated that the
format of Law Notes will be con-
tinued in its present form and that J   1). Batchelor
an enlarged staff of associate edi-
tors for various subject areas has been appointed.

WILKINS AND WILEY ALSO ELECTED
At the 32nd Annual Meceting of the Young Lawyers
Section, held in Montreal, Canada last August, William
W. Falsgraf, a partner in the Cleveland law firm of
Falsgraf, Kundtz, Reidy and Shoup, was named Nation-
al Chairman of the Section. Mr. Falsgraf, who served as
Vice-Chairiaan of the Section during the 1965-66 confer-
ence year, is a gradunate of Western Reserve ILaw
School.
The Annual Meeting was also highlighted by the
election of Gene F. Wilkins of the Indianapolis law
firm of lBamberger and Feibleman, as National Vice-
Chairman. Wilkins, a graduate of the University of
Indiana Law School, served as National Secretary dur-
ing the past )ear.
Moving up to National Secretary was Richard E.
Wiley of Chicago. Mr. Wiley, a graduate of Northwestern
University School of Law and associated with the
Chicago law firm of Chadwell, Keck, Kayser, Ruggles
& McLaren, served as a Director during the administra-
tion of Winton A. Winter, the outgoing Chairman of the
Young Lawyers Section.
All three men have had extensive experience in vari-
ous capacities with the American Bar Association and
are well qualified for their posts of high responsibility
with the Section.
ASSEMBLY OFFICERS: COCHRAN AND MULLEN
The Young Lawyer Conference Assembly, meeting
in Montreal, named Thomas D. Cochran of Independence,
Missouri, and Joseph W. Mullen of New York City, to
the important positions of Speaker and Clerk respec-
tively. Cochran's victory was in one of the closest
elections in Young Lawyer history, with stiff competi-
tion coming from C. Kimball Rose of Phoenix and
William P. Daniel of Flint, Michigan. Mullen who served
as a National Director of the Young Lawyers Section
during the last Section year was successful in defeat-
ing Charles J. Driebe of Atlanta, in the election for
Clerk. Cochran, a member of the YLS Executive Coun-
cil last )car, is a partner in the Independence law firm
of Piedimonte and Cochran, while Mullen is an attorney
for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
