By October, students and teachers are usually settled into their schools
for another term and we feel it to be a fitting time to prepare an issue of
the News which is of particular interest to them. This month we look at
subjects dealing primarily with students. Legislation as regards schooling,
student rights, programs for students and related books and materials, are
all looked at in this issue. There are also a number of other subjects covered
(as should be apparent from the size of this month's edition), including a
large number of continuing education programs.

In response to the imminent opening of a new parliamentary session, the
next edition of this newsletter will examine our federal system of government.
The deadline for receipt of material to be included in the November 1979 issue
of the ResouAce NewLQA is October 19, 1979.
