NEWS

October'781

This edition of the Reioutce NeW6 is special in two ways. Firstly, it
marks the beginning of the newsletter's third year of publication. The past
two years have seen this publication grow in both content and distribution
(from 600 copies to today's 1500 per month). The second special aspect of
this edition is its concentration upon the area of legal education in the
schools and upon those who teach law and law-related courses. This October
issue should, therefore, be of particular interest to those individuals
(teachers in particular) and groups involved in legal education. That, how-
ever, in no way precludes everyone else from reading the materials within.

Accompanying your copy of the Re6ouAce Newt this month is a pamphlet
entitled ...let it work for you, distributed by the Alberta Law Foundation.
The Foundation supports legal education/information projects (eg. The Legal
Resource Centre) throughout the province and has monies available for making
further grants in this area. If you have a suitable project in mind, which
is in need of financial assistance, read the pamphlet and contact the Founda-
tion.

The deadline for materials to be included in the November, 1978 edition
of the ReaouAce New6 is October 16, 1978.
