Alberta, Edmonton as a service to legal, native, consumer, women's and
social action groups in the province of Alberta.

The following is a list of some programmes that might be of interest.
The focus in this issue is on legal matters but we hope in the future
to cover a broader range of topics. Deadline for the November issue
is the third week of October.

The series will begin October 5 and run every Tuesday until December 7.
Lectures will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the North Glenora Community
League Hall, 109A Avenue & 135 Street, Edmonton.

Schedule:
  Oct. 5 - The Legal System and How It Works with Edmonton lawyer
          Donna Koziak.
  Oct. 12 - Matrimonial Property with Edmonton lawyer Myra Bielby.

  Oct. 19 - Consumer Protection with Professor Ron Hopp, Faculty of
           Law, University of Alberta.

Future topics will be decided in consultation with those who attend

Speaker's bureau ... The Speaker's bureau of the Legal Resource Centre
has arranged with a number of lawyers and law students to speak to
interested groups on assorted legal topics.
