The following is a list of some programmes that might be of interest. The focus in this issue is on legal matters but we hope in the future to cover a broader range of topics. Resource Centre in conjunction with is presenting a series of ten Basic Legal Rights: Discussions The series will begin October 5 and run every Tuesday until December 7. Lectures will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the North Glenora Community League Hall, 109A Avenue & 135 Street, Edmonton. Schedule: Oct. 5 - The Legal System and How It Works with Edmonton lawyer Donna Koziak. Oct. 12 - Matrimonial Property with Edmonton lawyer Myra Bielby. Oct. 19 - Consumer Protection with Professor Ron Hopp, Faculty of Law, University of Alberta. Future topics will be decided in consultation with those who attend the first three lectures.
