                                         ;  ..      The Section of Labor Relations Law will sponsor its
                                                17  ISecond National Institute on Equal Employment
                                                '    Opportunity Law on November 13-14, 1975, at The
                                                     Ambassador Hotels, Chicago, Illinois.
                                                       Application materials for advanced registration
                                                     have been included in a recent mailing to all members
                                                     of the Section and should be returned to the ABA
                                                     National Instittites, American Bar Association, 1155
                                   i NEast Sixtieth Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637. Hotel
                                                     reservations should be secured directly from the
                                                     Ambassador Hotels in Chicago.
                                                       The first day of the Program will feature a presenta-
                                                     tion on The EEOC's General Counsel's Office-Its
                                                     Objectives and Plans by Abner Sibal, recently
                                                     appointed as General Counsel of the Equal Employ-
                                                     ment Opportunity Commission. In addition, there will
                                                     be a panel on Hiring, Promotion and Other Employ-
                                               -ment Decisions; a presentation by William Kilberg,
                                                     Solicitor of Labor, on Multiple Forums; a panel on
                                                     Remedies in Class Action Civil Rights Cases; a
                                                     presentation by David L. Rose, Chief of the Employ-
                                                     ment Section Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department
                                 'L. ~a             of Justice, on Administrative and Judicial
                                                     Enforcement of E.O. 11246; and a presentation by
                                                     Gerald C. Smetana on The Tools of the Private
                                                     Practitioner in Dealing with Government Contract
                                                     Compliance under E.O. 11246.
                            fill       The second day of the Program will feature a
                                                ..   presentation on The Administration and Future of
                                                     the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs;
                                              fill'.1,  a panel on Defending Class Action Employment
                                                     Discrimination Cases; a luncheon address by Senator
                                                     Harrison Williams, Chairman of the Senate Labor
                                              S. i'  Committee, who will provide a political overview of
                                                'iEqual Employment Opportunity Legislation and
                                                     Administration; and a panel discussion of Recent
                                                     EEO Substantive Developments.
                                                .      The Program will conclude with a presentation by
                                                     Paul Grossman of Los Angeles on NLRB Remedies
                                               W     for Race and Sex Employment Discrimination and a
                                                 #   discussion of Seniority Systems-The Impact of
                                                 Jt,  Recent EEO Decisions by Michael A. Warner.
                                                       Section members are urged to mark their calendars
                                                     and make plans to attend this important Institute on
                                                     Equal Employment Opportunity Law.
