Australia      Following the retirement of Mr. Justice Ivor M. Evans, Mr. W. L.
Higgins Assistant Parliamentary Commissioner is now the Acting
Parliamentary Commissioner.

Nova Scotia

The Hon. Mark MacGuigan has been appointed Minister of Justice and
Attorney-General of Canada in succession to the Hon. Jean Chritien.
Mr. William  Campbell has succeeded Dr. Harry D. Smith as

Canada-       Under the Metropolitan Police Force Complaints Project Act 1981, Mr.
Ontario       Sidney B. Linden, QC, has been appointed the Public Complaints

Nigeria       Mr. M. 0. Mohammed has been appointed the Chief Commissioner of
the Public Complaints Commission.
