INTRODUCTION Critical constitutionalism, as a theme of the 2015 LatCrit conference,' urges us to closely examine the larger sociopolitical processes and ideologies that facilitate or impede access to rights for historically marginalized groups in the U.S. As a LatCrit scholar in the field of education, this was a new, but particularly meaningful concept.
