                    WINTER CALL MEETING


      The December 9,:1977 CALL luncheon meeting was held at
 the Drake Hotel.
      The speaker for this meeting was Mr. Richard Babcock,
 an attorney at Ross, Hardies, O'Keefe, Babcock & Parsons.
 The topic of Mr. Babcock's speech was land use.


                 EDUCATION COMMITTEE NEWS


     Our first education program, Foreign Law and Foreign
 Trade held at Loyola on October 19, 1977, was a real success
with 35 people attending, including 2 non-librarians. Our
thanks to Mr. Frank Lukes, Ms. Marta Pryjma, and Mr. Adolf
Sprudzs for making it such a fine program. For copies of
the handout which includes Mr. Sprudzs' paper j Basic U. S.
Sources for Current Research in International Law: An
Elementary*Vade-Medum, and other information regarding
foreign materials, contact Donna Tuke (346-8500 Ext. 229).
