CALL LUNCHEON MEETING UPDATE


     The speaker at the September 9 meeting will now be Susan Sher, an
attorney at Mayer, Brown & Platt. Ms. Sher's topic will be the EEOC.

     The luncheon is to be held at the Marshall Field Wedgewood Room,
111 N. State, with a cash bar at 11:30a.m. and the meal at noon. Reser-
vations must be received by September 5. Checks for $7.00 should be
made payable to CALL and sent to Carol A. Brosk, McDermott, Will & Emory,
Library, 111 W. Monroe, Chicago 60603. No Cancellations after September 6.


                      EDUCATION COMMITTEE NEWS

     An exciting program is shaping up for this year's education meetings
which we think will be of interest to all law librarians. We are planning
a vigorous publicity campaign to attract as many librarians as possible.
Speakers and locations will be announced later. Topics and dates are:

          Wednesday, October 19, 1977, Foreign Law
          Materials in the Chicago Metropolitan Area
          and Guide to Using Them.

          Friday, February 17, 1978, Illinois Ad-
          ministrative Agencies and Legislative
          Process and History. (Luncheon will be
          part of this program)

          Wednesday, April 5, 1978, Current
          General Reference Sources.
