NEVADA AND SPORTS LAW

I.     INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate
that the state of Nevada has much to offer for sports
law enthusiasts. Found in the Ninth Circuit, with a
relatively small yet rapidly growing population,57
Nevada has often been the center of discussion and
research in sports law circles particularly in relation
to its decades-long federal exemption that enabled
the state to offer legalized sports wagering.58 While
