President's
Message
L is a great privilege and honor for me to
serve as President for 1996-97 of this orga-

of the estate and trust bar throughout this
country. I have been a member of ACTEC
for 18 years and for most of those years
have served on one or more of the ACTEC
committees. In this Message I would like
to report on a number of activities.
Thanks to Henry and Jo Claire Gissell
Henry and Jo Claire were an outstand-

during 1995-96. Henry established the
Charitable Planning and Exempt Organi-

state and regional meetings, presided over
national meetings and Board of Regents
meetings with skill, style and humor, over-

PLEASE NOTE
Nomination Form Revised; Deadline Set
Membership Selection Committee Chair Malcolm A. Moore has revised the Nomination
Form for Fellows. A copy of the form, which was previously mailed to you with President
Charles A. Collier, Jr.'s letter of May 1996, is enclosed with this issue of ACTEC Notes.
The new gray form should be used for all nominations for Fellow (but not for Academ-
ic Fellow; that form has also been revised and may be obtained from the ACTEC office).
The old yellow forms should be discarded.
QUESTIONS? Call Mal Moore at (206) 622-3150 or Debbie Jacobovitz, ACTEC
Membership Administrator, at (310) 398-1888 for further information.
ABOUT THE DEADLINE: In order for nominations to be considered at the 1996 Fall
Meeting in Cincinnati, State Chairs must review and submit nominations to the ACTEC
Membership Administrator by August 5. Any Fellow making a nomination should, therefore,
submit the completed form to his or her State Chair as far ahead of that deadline as possible.
