      AALS MOVES TO A
      NEW LOCATION
      AFTER 20 YEARS

As office space in the National
Center for Higher Education building,
the Association's home for the last
twenty years, became increasingly
scarce, our offices became seriously
overcrowded, thus making a move
essential. (Some say we were only one
step ahead of the fire marshall!) In
early February the AALS moved its
national headquarters to a new location
just a few blocks away from its old
Dupont Circle location. The AALS is
now located at 1201 Connecticut
Avenue, Northwest, Suite 800,
Washington, DC 20036. Our
telephone number (202/296-8851) and
FAX number (202/296-8869) remain
the same. Come by and see our new
offices if you are in the area!

presidency meant that a law teacher literally had to
