' INTRODUCTION wenty-five year old Lisa walks into my office one day and tells me she has been a victim of human sex trafficking.2 Lisa grew up in a rural area of Mexico.3 She was poor, unemployed, and had practically no education.4 Eventually, she met a group of men who 5 promised her a better life in America. One of these men even promised to marry her upon 6 arriving in the United States, enticing her that much more. After illegally crossing the border with these men, neither legitimate employment nor a better life was waiting for Lisa.
