Issue As the world continues to revolve, mankind also evolves - their beliefs, perspectives, and point of view. Nowadays, themes of sensitive and actual controversies such as homosexuality may not be considered as a taboo in our society, unlike during the time of our ancestors. Issues involving the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual and plus44 (LGBTQIA+) community are now exposed and discussed by leaders and people from all walks of life. Some have positive responses towards it, while others hostile. In countries like Malaysia, Singapore, and India where same-sex sexual behavior is considered a criminal act,45 a religion-sensitive and conservative country like the Philippines has been considered as one of the friendlier countries in Southeast Asia46 when it comes to tolerating the community.
