* Ph.D., University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, 1975; B.
Sc., St. Xavier's College, Bombay, India, 1968. Dr. Kotval is a Research
Associate Professor, at the School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy,
Management, and Behavior, State University of New York at Albany. Previously,
Dr. Kotval has been a Senior Staff Scientist for the Legislative Commission on
Science and Technology for the New York State Legislature. Dr. Kotval has also
authored numerous papers and reports, and given presentations on regulation
and recombination of genes in microbial systems.
