RESUMEN El debate sobre la naturaleza jurfdica de la categoria del derecho subjetivo ha centrado la atenci6n de grandes juristas. La poldmica en torno a esta cuesti6n resulta en todo caso 16gica, pues nos referimos a una categora jurfdica funda- mental en la arquitectura dogmitico-jurfdica. Esta controversia alcanzarfa una de sus mis importantes manifestaciones con el gran jurista frances LEON DUGUIT, quien dedic6 una parte primordial de su obra jurfdica a contestar a las tesis clisicas, negando desde la teorfa jurfdico-sociol6gica, la existencia misma de los derechos subjetivos.
