* Hon. Dan Stidham is an Arkansas State District Court Judge and
adjunct Professor of Political Science at Arkansas State University. He served
as trial counsel for Jessie Misskelley, one of the West Memphis Three. The
West Memphis Three were wrongfully convicted in the brutal murders of three
eight-year-olds in 1994.
** Haley Fitzgerald is an adjunct Professor of English at Arkansas State
University, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she teaches Composition and Litera-
ture. She holds bachelors' and masters' degrees in English, and a masters' de-
gree in Heritage Studies. She is currently completing a Ph.D. in Heritage Stud-
ies.
***   Jason Baldwin is one of the West Memphis Three. He was wrongful-
ly convicted in 1994 and released by the State of Arkansas via an Alford plea
after serving eighteen years and seventy-eight days in prison.
