       The animal law movement and animal law education in law schools
   has grown over the years. In this Article, prominent figures in the animal
   law world discuss this growth as well as changes that are expected within

School. Ms. Frasch has served as general counsel for the Animal Legal Defense Fund
(ALDF) and, in 1996, she created the ALDF Criminal Justice Program, which assists
both. law enforcement and animal advocates in the investigation and prosecution of
animal abuse and neglect cases. Joyce Tischler is the cofounder of the Animal Legal
Defense Fund and served as the Executive Director for twenty-five years. Ms. Tischler
now teaches at Lewis & Clark Law School and is an internationally recognized speaker
and author.
