Adequate child protection implementation necessitates the development of truth, justice, and child welfare. Drawing from Law Number 35 of 2014, which amends Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, children's basic rights encompass the right to live, develop, be protected, participate, and receive education. Preventive measures against child sexual abuse involve parental involvement and law enforcement participation to deter perpetrators effectively. This normative legal research, employing statutory and conceptual approaches, delves into governmental strategiesfor preventing sexual violence. Active campaigns to raise public awareness are crucial, alongside stringent measures such as denying rights (e.g., remission, parole, clemency) to convicted sexual offenders, aiming to prevent recidivism. By adopting a multifaceted approach encompassing legal, social, and educational dimensions, society can effectively combat child sexual violence and safeguard the rights and well-being of children. Abstrak Kekerasan seksual terhadap anak merupakan kejahatan yang sangat mengkhawatirkanyang membutuhkan perhatian masyarakat Implementasi perlindungan anak yang memadai memerlukan pengembangan kebenaran, keadilan, dan kesejahteraan anak. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 yang mengubah Undang-Undang Nomor23 Tahun 2002 tentang Perlindungan Anak, hak-hak dasar anak meliputi hak untuk hidup, berkembang, dilindungi, berpartisipasi, dan menerima pendidikan. Langkah-langkah preventif terhadap pelecehan seksual terhadap anak melibatkan keterlibatan orang tua dan partisipasi penegakanhukum untukmenghalangi pelakusecaraefektif Penelitianhukum normatifini,yang menggunakan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan konseptual, meneliti strategi pemerintah untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual. Kampanye aktif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat sangat penting, bersamaan dengan langkah-langkah ketat seperti penolakan hak (misalnya, remisi, pembebasan bersyarat, klemensi) kepada pelaku kejahatan seksualyang terbukti, dengan tujuan mencegah kekambuhan. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan multifaset yang mencakup dimensi hukum, sosial, dan pendidikan, masyarakat dapat secara efektif melawan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak dan melindungi hak dan kesejahteraan anak.
