This is one of the key messages coming out of the new book Make Work Fair, published by Harvard research- ers Iris Bohnet and Siri Chilazi in January 2025.2 With a focus on empirical data, this latest lesson in behavioural science holds important lessons for the nuclear weapons space, which has tried to grapple with issues related to diversity and inclusion, but is still characterized by unequal access, illustrated by a lack of demographic diversity.
