Be it enacted, by the Senate and I-louse of Representatives, now met ay be and sittig in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That nged by hereafter, in all civil cases in which a Jury shall be impanneled, before they party, 4t cause shall be charged with the trial of any issue, each party shall have the right to !,and in challenge, without cause shown, two of the Jury so impanneled ; and in ial cases endant, all criminal cases, in the Courts of General Sessions, wherein challenge with- out cause is not allowed by law, the defendant shall have the right to challenge, without cause shown, two of the Jury, before they are sworn to try the tra- verse; and the places of the jurors so challenged, shall be supplied as now provided by law for completing a pannel.
