of Sales and Use Taxes Under Articles 28 and
29 of the Tax Law for the Period March 1, 1991
through August 31, 1992.
Petitioner, William Roland, officer of Great Gatsby's of New York City,
Inc., 808 Broadway, New York, New York 10003-4806, filed a petition for
redetermination of a deficiency or for refund of New York State and New York
City personal income taxes under Article 22 of the Tax Law and the New York
City Administrative Code for the periods ended June 30, 1991 and
December 31, 1991, and for revision of a determination or for refund of
sales and use taxes under Articles 28 ind 29 of the Tax Law for the period
March 1, 1991 through August 31, 1992.
1Also currently pending before the Division of Tax Appeals is a
petition filed by William Roland with regard to New York State and New York
City personal income taxes in the amount of $9,500.41 for the period January
1, 1992 through September 30, 1992 (DTA No. 813257). Petitioner is
represented in such case by Larry J. Silverman, Esq. and Michelle Mogal,
Esq. Prior proceedings in DTA No. 813257 resulted in a February 22, 1996
Tax Appeals Tribunal decision remanding the case to the Division of Tax
