ARMY OF THE UNITED STATES
AND
GENERAL ORDERS IN FORCE FEBRUARY 17, 1881.
Codified and Published by order of the Secretary of War, under the
2d section of the act of June 23, 1879, as follows :
AN ACT making appropriations for the support of the Army, &c.
SEc. 2. That the Secretary of War is authorized and directed to cause all the
regulations of the Army and general orders now in force to be codified and
published to the Army, and to defray the expenses thereof out of the contingent
fund of the Army.
