School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru.
This edition marks another milestone in the Journal's enduring commitment to fostering high-
quality research and intellectual discourse in the interconnected fields of law and social sciences.
Following the success of the preceding volume, IJLS Volume 9, Issue 1 (2023), recognized for
its inclusion in prestigious indices such as J-Gate, Manupatra, Heinonline, Google Scholar and
SCC Online, this issue aspires to continue serving as an invaluable resource for academicians,
practitioners, researchers, and students across the globe, promoting scholarly inquiry into critical
socio-legal issues.
The current volume features an array of meticulously curated contributions by distinguished
scholars and practitioners. These articles address a wide spectrum of contemporary societal
challenges, providing nuanced analyses and practical recommendations. Such intellectual
endeavors resonate deeply with the Journal's mission to critically examine the dimensions of
social transformation and their impact on legal paradigms, thereby advancing the discourse on

essence of this publication. We also commend the Editorial Board for their dedication, diligence,
and collaborative efforts, which have been pivotal in bringing this edition to fruition.
We are confident that this volume will prove to be an insightful and intellectually enriching
resource for our readers. As we look to the future, we cordially invite submissions of high-calibre
