                   TUNIS.
 L. S. J Whereas,  John S. Twells, Assignee of
the estate of Hardy & 'T'unis, did, on the 4th day
of December, one  thousand eight hundred  and
forty-seven, file in the office of the Prothonotary
of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of
Philadelpbia, his first account as assignee of the
said estate:
  NOTICE is   hereby given to the creditors of the
said Hardy &  Tunis, and all other persons inte-
rested in the said estate, that the Honorable the
Judges of Court of Common Pleas aforesaid, have
appointed SATURDAY, the 8th day of   January,
one thousand eight hundred  and forty-eight, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the hearing of the
same, and  for showing cause why  the said ac-
count  ought not to be allowed, and in default
thereof thle same will be confirmed.
  Witness the Honourable  Edward  King, Presi-
     dent of our said Court at Philadelphia, the
     8th day of December, 1847.
