 The   Board of Examiners have adopted the
 following resolution :
 The  Board shall hold a stated meeting on the
 First Tuesday in every month, at 4 o'clock, P.M.
 at the Law Library Room; and each candidate,
 after having given three days' notice to each of
 the members of the said Board, of his intended
 application, with his name and the name of the
 member of the Bar with whom he has studied,
 and having also left with the Secretary the cer
 tificates requisite for admiesin at the time of
 such notice given as aforesaid, shall present hirr.-
 self for examination at such stated meeting.

      IN  THE   DISTRICT   COURT,
City and County of Philadelphia, June 25, 1844
  IT is ORDERED, That no action shall be had 1)
the Board of Examiners on any application to
admission to the bar of this Court, unless notin
shall have been given of such application by pub
lication in the LEGAL INTELLIGENCER for four
weeks immediately preceding the action of the
Board thereon. This rule to go into effect from
and after the first Tuesday of September, 1844.

       RULES OF COURT.

         DISTRICT COURT.
   For the City and County of Philadelphia.
Arrangement of business for December Term,
                  1845.
  The  term will commence  on the 1st day
of December,1845, with Motions and Arguments,
which will continue four weeks, and terminate
on the 27th day of December, 1845. The ensu-
ing nine weeks are fixed for Jury Trials.
  First period, three weeks from December 29th
1845, to January 17th, 1846, inclusive.
  Second period, three weeks from January 19th
1846, to February 7th, 3846, inclusive.
  Third period, three weeks from February 9th
1846, to February 28th 1846, inclusive.
  Ordered by the Court:-And now, September
18, 1843; It shall be the duty of the Prothonota-
ry, at least thirty days before the commence-
ment of any period appropriated to the trial of
causes by jury, to make ousta complete list of all
causes entitled to be placed on the trial list for
uch period: and none of the causes on such list
shall be continued to another term unless at the


joint request of thd Counsel, signified by writing
filed with the Prothonotary at least three weeks
before the commencement of such period.

 Rules  for Regulating   the Appointments
                of Auditors.
   1. Ordered that whenever the proceeds of any
 sale by the Sheriff shall be paid into Court, it
 shall be the duty of the Prothonotary forthwith
 to cause public notice to be given by eight inser-
 tions in two public newspapers, four in each on
 alternate days, and once likewise in the Legal
 Intelligencer, requiring all persons interested
 in the said proceeds to meet at a certain time
 and place to be therein mentioned, then and
 there to present their claims to the Prothonota-
 ry of the Court and choose an Auditor to adjust
 the same, and appropriate the said proceeds ac-
 cording to law, or be debarred thereafter from
 all claims upon the same.

 1845, commencing Monday, December 1, 1845.
   From the tst to 6th of December, 1845, inclu-

   From the 5th to 13th of February, 1846, for
 Argument in Equity.
 From   the 16th of February, 1846, to end of
 Term, for Orphans' Court Arguments.

              cember 2. 1843.
  IT 15 ORDERED, That in place of the advertise-
ment now required by the existing Rules of this
Court, to be given in cases where proceeds of
Sheriff's sales, or the accounts of trustees, as-
signees, &c., shall be referred to an Auditor for
adjustment or distribution, advertisement be
made twice successively in the LEGAL INTELLI-
GENCER, published in Philadelphia, and also every
other day five times in one daily newspaper in

GENCER, published in Philadelphia, and alsoevery
other day five times in one daily paper in said.
