Applicant's Address
The requirement of Rule 33 that the post-office address
of the applicant must be stated In the petition, means that
the applicant must give the post-office address at which he
customarily receives his mail.
The rule was made In order that the Office in necessary
cases might correspond directly with the applicant and not
through his attorney. The address of the attorney with
instructions to send communications to the applicant In his
care will not be accepted as a compliance with this rule.
Notice of Cancellation

Uniflow Stoker Company, its assigns or legal representa-
tives take notice:
An application for cancellation having been filed In
this Office by Iron Fireman Manufacturing Company,
4784 S. E. Seventeenth Ave., Portland, Oregon, to effect
the cancellation of trade-mark regigtration of Uniflow
Stoker Company, 225 South Yellow Springs St., Spring-
field, Ohio, No. 198,638, dated May 19, 1925, and the
notice of such proceeding sent by registered mail to the
said Unifiow Stoker Company at the said address having
been returned by the post office undeliverable, notice is
hereby given that unless said Unifiow Stoker Company,
its assigns or legal representatives, shall enter an appear-

ance therein within thirty days from the first publication
of this order the cancellation will be proceeded with as
in the case of default. This notice will be published In
the OFFICIAL GAZETTE for three consecutive weeks.

International Convention-Adhesion
Germany
This Office has been notified by the State Department
that on January 14, 1938, the British Foreign Office noti-
fled the American Embassy in London that the instru-
ments of ratification of the International Convention for
the Protection of Industrial Property signed in London
on June 2, 1934, were deposited with the British Govern-
Ilent by Germany on August 10, 1937.

This Office has been notified by the State Department
that on January 14, 1938, the British Foreign Office noti-
fied the American Embassy in London that the instru-
ments of ratification of the International Convention for
the Protection of Industrial Property signed in London
on June 2, 1934, were deposited with the British Govern-
ment by Denmark on July 29, 1937.
