This report is written by Neil Boothby, Abubacar Sultan and Peter Upton, all of whom were in-
volved in projects for Save the Children Federation (USA) in Mozambique when the information
was collected. An edited version of the report will appear as a chapter in a forthcoming book on
children and war to be published by Oxford University Press.
