Introl Corporation requests reconsideration of our decision in Introl Corporation, D-206012, Febru- ary 24, 1982, 82-1 CPt 164, in that decision, we * held that Introl could not be permitted to extend its bid acceptance period in order to qualify for .1 award since it had not offered the acceptance period requested in the invitation for bids, and any such' extension thus would be prejudicial to other bidders who had offered .the requested period. I We dismiss the reconsideration request. The * contracting agency now advises us that the require- . ment in issue no longer exists, and the solicita- tion therefore has been canceled, pursuant to Federal Procurement Regulations 5 1-2#404-1(b)(2) (1964 ed.). Thus, even if Introl were permitted to extend its offered bid acceptance period, no award would be made under the invitation. Introl's request for 4 j reconsideration therefore is moot, and will not be ;I considered.
