We inquired into this matter with Dersonne! of your Branch of Classi-

were told that in a review of the records in the Branch of Personnel,

were identified who inadvertantly had not yet been oaid for their May
1977 cay increase, although most had been oaid in July and, the others
should receive their pay increase in early January 1978.

until the fourth or fifth month after their effective date, we are re-
questing that procedures be established to assure that all emoloyees due
a future increase be oaid on a timely basis. We would aooreciate a re-
sponse from you within 30 days as to what action has or will be taken in
     establishing such procedures.
