This action is in response to a request for an advance decision from Mre. Dolores T. Hodges, an authorized certifying officer of the Departuent of Housing and Urban Developnint (HUD), concerning tae claim of Mist Virginia M. Armstrong fox reimbursement of certain expenses incurred in selling her internac in a cooperatively owned apartment upon her transfer from New York, New York, to Washington, D.C. The record indicates that in order to sell her interest in the apartment it was necessary for Miss Armstrong to sell 390 shares of stuck in the torporation which owned the apart- ment building and to assign her proprietary lease to the buyer of the apartment.
