                      Joint Travel Reaulations, Change No. 37, dated
                      September 16, 1975, ad mad. effective that date,
                      notwithstandig that notificatioa of the reduction

           Naval Shipyard who performad temporary duty at Cuam, Marteaa '
           Ialands, on or after seterser 16, 1975, but before January 13,
           1976.

                On Sepmber. 16, 1915, Civilia Personnel Per Dim Thilletin
           No. 57 was issued by tbe Per Dia, Travel and Treasportation
           Allowance Co~iitte., reducilg ba hawem per diem rate for
           Guas fro  $56 to $49 effective as of that date. That bullti
           wes not teceived by the Navy Regional Finance Center, Treasure
           Island, S in lrancisco, until October 14, 1975. The Mare Island
           Naval Shipyard was not notified of the reduction in per dies
           rates   ti1 January 1, .1976, when it received Chinge No. 122
           to the Joit  travel Reaisltioe (JT), Volme.2, dated Decmn-
           bhr 1, 1973. Conseqmently, Mare aland Naval Shipyard employees
           assitad  to .taMporary duty in Cuam frr Septeber 16. 1975, to
           January 13, 11976, were errosesously autharised per tm  at the
           previously effective rate of $55.

                The Cm   nder of the Mare Island Naval Shipyard suagests
