A review of the audit report of the Little League
Foundation or the years ended September 30, 1975 and 1976,
inlicated that the audit and financial reporting standards of
Public Law 88-178 mere met by the Poundation. The Foundation is
not a federally chartered organization; however, its New T7ork
State charter restricts its purpose to exclusive assistance of
Little League Faseball, Inc., even though there is no legal

the Foundation was revieved because of its relationship to
Little League Easeball, Inc., which is a federally chartered
organizaticn. Findings/Conclusions: The audit report was
prepared by a firm of certified public accountants and included
a statement of the scope of audit and the auditor's opinion that
the financial statements present fairly the financial position
of the Little League Foundation at September 30, 1975 and 1976,
and the results of operations and changes in fand balances for
 the years then ended. (SC)
