                      H.R. 2269, the  Wastewater  Infrastructure Pollution Prevention
                    and Environmental   Safety Act, or the WIPPES   Act, was  intro-
                    duced by  Representative McClain  on March  21, 2025, and  was re-
                    ferred to the Committee  on Energy  and  Commerce.   H.R. 2269 re-
