[To accompany H.R. 8616]
The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, to whom
was referred the bill (H.R. 8616) to amend the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to require the Presi-
dent to establish a disaster deductible for each State to offset the
amount provided to such State in response to a major disaster, and
for other purposes, having considered the same, reports favorably
thereon without amendment and recommends that the bill as
amended do pass.
