Mr. WESTERMAN, from the Committee on Natural Resources,
submitted the following
REPORT

The Committee on Natural Resources, to whom was referred the
bill (H.R. 7003) to amend the National Landslide Preparedness Act
to reauthorize such Act, having considered the same, reports favor-
ably thereon with an amendment and recommends that the bill as
amended do pass.
The amendment is as follows:
Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following:
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the National Landslide Preparedness Act Reauthoriza-
tion Act of 2024.
SEC. 2. NATIONAL LANDSLIDE PREPAREDNESS ACT REAUTHORIZATION.
The National Landslide Preparedness Act (43 U.S.C. 3101 et seq.) is amended-
(1) in section 3 (43 U.S.C. 3102)-
(A) in subsection (a)(3), by striking protect and inserting contribute to
protecting;
(B) in subsection (b)(1)(C)(ii), by striking implement and inserting dis-
seminate;
(C) in subsection (c)(2), by adding at the end the following:
(J) The Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Adminis-
tration.; and
(D) in subsection (h), by striking 2024 and inserting 2029; and
(2) in section 5 (43 U.S.C. 3104)-
(A) in subsection (a)-
(i) in paragraph (1)(A), by inserting and derivative after 3D ele-
vation; and
(ii) in paragraph (2)(B)(i), by inserting , process, and integrate after
acquire;
(B) in subsection (b)(3)-
