                      The  Committee   on Homeland   Security, to whom  was referred the
                    bill (H.R. 6229) to amend the Homeland   Security Act of 2002 to au-
                    thorize  a program   to assess  the threat, vulnerability, and  con-
                    sequences  of terrorism or other security threats, as appropriate, to
                    certain events, and for other purposes, having considered  the same,
                    reports  favorably thereon  without   amendment and recommends
                    that the bill do pass.
