                      The  Committee   on  Transportation  and  Infrastructure, to whom
                    was  referred the bill (H.R. 8692) to require that the Amtrak Board
                    of Directors comply with  the open meetings  requirements  of section
                    552b  of title 5, United States Code, and for other purposes, having
                    considered  the same, reports favorably thereon with an  amendment
                    and  recommends   that the bill as amended do pass.
