Was a fraudulent document written over a genuine signature ? Is the ink as old as it purports to be ? Does the paper contain a water-mark ? It may indicate the date of its manufacture. Is the source of the document shown by the typewriting ? On the date of the document was the machine in existence on which it was written ? Was the document written continuously, or is there fraudulent additions or substitutions of figures, letters, words, para- graphs or pages ? Was the document folded before any of the writing was put upon it ? Do crossed lines at any point indicate interlineations or addi- tions ? Is there any evidence of erasures either by chemicals or by rubbing ? Has the paper been wet, discolored artificially, or crumpled to give it the appearance of age ?
