The  New Holiday Inn, Downtown, just
be site of '69 meeting.
  President Joseph V. Cavanagh  has
announced  that an all new arrange-
ment  of events for the 1969 Annual
Meeting  of the Rhode Island Bar As-
sociation will be presented to mem-
bers on  Monday,   October 6, 1969.
The  program  has  been greatly ex-
panded  to provide discussions of time-
ly subjects by leaders in the particular
fields with time for questions and an-
sw.ers on each subject. The program
will begin at 10:00 a.m., will include a
luncheon, proceed through the after-
noon  sessions, a short business ses-
sion, followed by a cocktail party and
ending with the Annual Dinner.
         Wives to be Invited
  Wives (or husbands) will be invited
to all events. One of the goals is to
llven up the events and to get away
from the dreary reading of committee
reports. The profession is faced with
many  problems and it is vital to get

     Edward K. Pritchard, Charleston,
          to Be Dinner Speaker
    Edward   K.   Pritchard, Esq., of
  Charleston, South  Carolina, Chair-
  man  of the  National Conference of
  Bar  Presidents and Past President of
  the South  Carolina Bar Association,
  will be the principal speaker at the
  Annual   Dinner. Mr.  Pritchard be-
  came   Chairman  of the  Bar  Presi-
  dents, an affiliate organization of the
  ABA,  at the group's annual meeting
  in Dallas in August.

    Executive Director John  J. Don-
  ahue of the Rhode Island Legal Serv-
  ices, Inc., will talk  about  his  plans,
