Judicial Confirmation Soon?
At press time, Gov. Lynch nominated N. William
Delker, senior assistant attorney general, as a superior court
judge.
If confirmed, Delker would fill one of five vacancies
on that court. However, due to economic pressures, it is
unlikely the governor will fill any of the other longstanding
vacancies on the courts.
Vacancies also are being created by the recent retire-
ments of District Court Judges Paul Lawrence (Goffstown)
and John Korbey (Salem). Upcoming issues of Bar News
will examine the status of state courts. An interview with
new Superior Court Chief Justice Tina Nadeau has been
scheduled.
