The Moffat County Courthouse, located in Craig, Colorado, was built in 1917 for $42,000. In 1962, a new
courthouse was built around three sides of the original sandstone building at a cost of $750,000. The new,
two-story building is reddish brick with a copper decoration over the front entrance which turns green in the
spring. The courthouse sits on the main thoroughfare of downtown Craig. Photo and information courtesy
