VLy dear Dr. Lewis,
I have received your letter of June 9 and read itidth
yery great interest. I also thank you for sending me the
financial statement as well as your report on the use of the
Endowment's contribution. I shall examine the printed report
and Statement on Essential Human Rights and I congratulate you
upon the excellent form in which the Statement has been prepared.
If possible, I would like to have a sufficient number of copies
of this printed Statement to send to each of the Trustees of the
Endowment. Can you spare me thirty copies for that purpose?
I have forwarded to Dr. Jessup your letter to him and
the copies of the documents you enclosed for his use.
I am,
Sincerely yours,
Director.
