The writer has served, from time to time, as consultant to the American Council for
Judiasm, a national organization of Americans of Jewish religious faith. The letterhead

identification on our religious faith. For in the U.S. religion and nationality must remain
separate and distinct.
The analyses and conclusions in the present study are those of the writer alone.
