ANNOUNCEMENT

With this issue of Press Releases the Depart-
ment of State is adopting a new and more at-
tractive format and is also inaugurating the
practice of including in each issue all addresses
delivered by officers of the Department during
the period covered. Heretofore addresses by
the Department's officers have ordinarily been
available only in separate pamphlets at an extra
price.
Under this new arrangement subscribers to
Press Releases will hereafter receive for a single
price all the releases which the Department
makes available regularly to newspaper cor-
respondents in mimeographed form and which
include a wide range of current information

regarding this Government's foreign policy. In
adopting the new two-column format the De-
partment, with the cooperation of the Govern-
ment Printing Office, has endeavored to make
the publication more readable as well as more
useful. It is believed that the moderate sub-
scription price fixed by the Government
Printing Office will make it possible for all in-
dividuals, organizations, and libraries inter-
ested in current developments in the several
phases of American foreign relations to ob-
tain this service regularly. Subscriptions may
be placed with the Superintendent of Docu-
ments, Government Printing Office, Washing-
ton, D. C.
