Mrs. Elliott, who was the 1995 Vice Chairman, succeeds Danny L. McDonald as Chairman. Before her original appointment, Mrs. Elliott was vice president of Bishop, Bryant & Associates, a political consulting firm. Prior to that, she was an executive of the American Medical Political Action Committee. Mrs. Elliott was on the board of directors of the American Association of Political Consultants and on the board of the Chicago Area Public Affairs Group, of which she is a past president. She was also a member of the Public Affairs Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. She is a recipient of the Award for Excellence in Serving Corporate Public Affairs from the National Association of Manufac- turers. A native of St. Louis, Mrs. Elliott graduated from the University of Illinois.
